How to Edit the Recipient's Card

  1. Go to the Audience section.

  2. Click on the recipient's name or select Edit from the action menu.

  3. (Optional) Change the specified personal data of the recipient.

    warning

    The Phone field is required.

  4. (Optional) Configure or change additional recipient settings on the following tabs:

Black list
WhatsApp
Viber

Click To black listAdd to assign the Black list tag to the recipient and exclude them from all broadcasts sent from your edna Pulse personal account.

To remove a recipient from the blacklist, click ExcludeRemove.

warning

When sending messages via API, the Black list tag is not taken into account.

  1. Click Unsubscribe.
  2. Select one or more channels from which you want to unsubscribe the recipient when sending WhatsApp mailings from your edna Pulse personal account, if the recipient has expressed a desire to no longer receive mailings on specific channels. This helps reduce spam complaints and maintain high channel quality.
  3. Click Unsubscribe.

To resume receiving broadcasts, click Resubscribe, select one or more channels, and click Resubscribe.

warning

When sending messages via API, the unsubscribe flag in WhatsApp is not taken into account.

tip

You can manage unsubscribes from WhatsApp broadcasts using the Exclude recipients who unsubscribed from broadcasts checkbox when selecting the broadcast audience. If a recipient clicks the unsubscribe button in the message, they will automatically be marked as unsubscribed.

If the recipient has not sent any incoming messages to the chat with the company in the last 24 hours, you cannot block them.

  1. Click Block.
  2. Select one or more channels in which you want to block the recipient on WhatsApp due to spam or other unwanted actions on their part.
  3. Click Block.

After blocking, messaging with this recipient will be unavailable, but the conversation history will be preserved.

To unblock, click Unblock, select one or more channels, and click Unblock.

tip

The blocking status is taken into account both when sending a message from your edna Pulse personal account and via API.

  1. Click Save to save the changes to the recipient's card.
