Template Types
To create broadcast faster, prepare message templates in advance. There are three types of message templates available in edna Pulse: operator, custom, and free.
Operator Templates WhatsApp Viber
Used to register a template with the service operator. An operator template can be used for broadcasts or as a basis for creating a user template.
You can create operator templates for the following operators:
- Viber
Registration of an operator template for WhatsApp is required to send broadcasts. According to Meta's rules, the provider of the WhatsApp channel, you can send any notification to a customer if you have received at least one message from them in the last 24 hours. Otherwise, you can only send broadcasts using a pre-approved template.
Sending broadcasts via WhatsApp is only possible if you have a registered operator template.
Viber allows you to save money when sending broadcasts. If you agree on an operator template, you will be able to send messages at a more favorable price.
You can agree on templates with Viber for sending service and informational messages. Operator templates are not collected for advertising traffic.
Auto-fill elements
Operator templates can use auto-fill elements — strings of characters that can be replaced with any value. Based on a single registered operator template with auto-fill elements, you can send different broadcasts, adapting them to different recipients.

After you submit the operator template for registration, a prompt with the expected registration date will be available on its page.
Custom Templates WhatsApp Viber
Custom templates are created based on registered operator templates and are used to send broadcasts.
To send a personalized broadcast using a custom template, you can add recipient variables to places with automatic substitution elements — for example, name, patronymic, pet's nickname, car brand, and so on.
Custom templates can be used for WhatsApp and Viber broadcasts.
Free Templates Viber
Free templates are designed to save time — they don't require registration with providers. The number of free templates is unlimited. Templates may contain advertisements and allow the use of variables.
Free templates can only be used for Viber broadcasts.
