How to Create a WhatsApp Custom Template

You can create a custom template only based on the operator template with the Active status.

Step 1. Add Template Data​

  1. Go to Settings → Templates section of your edna Pulse account.

  2. Click Add template and select WhatsApp.

  3. Select the Custom template type.

  4. Select a previously created operator template from the Create from template drop-down list.

  5. Enter the template name.

  6. Click Next.

Step 2. Check Template Content​

Variables are replaced with their values when creating a broadcast based on this template. The message to the recipient will have specific values instead of variables.

  1. If you used character strings in the template text, replace them with text or a variable.

  2. Make sure that the custom template corresponds to the operator template format.

  3. If everything is right, click Save.

The custom template is added with the Active status.
