Updates: edna Pulse API
Added API methods for managing tariffs: getting the tariff list and setting or unsetting the default tariff for a channel type.
You can manage tariffs without going to your edna Pulse account.
Retrieving the list of available tariffs
Added the api/v1/tariffs method. The method returns the current tariff list without going to your edna Pulse account.
You can get the list for all channel types or filter it by one type using the channelType query parameter. The isDefault field shows whether the default tariff is set for this channel type. The tariff identifier from the id field is used in the methods for setting and unsetting the default tariff.
Setting the default tariff
Added the api/v1/tariffs/set-default method. The method sets the tariff that edna Pulse assigns to new channels of the selected type when you register them without manually selecting a tariff in your edna Pulse account.
- You can set one default tariff for each channel type. When you set a new default tariff, the previous tariff’s
isDefaultvalue changes tofalse. - After you successfully register a new channel through the API, edna Pulse assigns the default tariff to it, and the channel moves to the Correctstatus. edna Pulse sends a channel status change webhook with the
ACTIVEvalue. - Channels of this type which don’t have a selected tariff yet also receive the default tariff. Channels that already have an assigned tariff don’t change.
Unsetting the default tariff
Added the api/v1/tariffs/unset-default method. The method disables automatic tariff assignment to new channels of the selected type, so you should select the tariff manually again.
- The tariff’s
isDefaultvalue changes tofalse. The tariff remains in the list of available tariffs. - When you register new channels of this type, you should select the tariff manually in your edna Pulse account. Until you select a tariff, the channel remains in the Requires attentionstatus, and you receive an email notification.
- Tariffs that are already assigned to channels and the default tariff settings for other channel types don’t change.
