Filtering the dialog list

The dialog list has two tabs: All dialogs and Awaiting reply:

  • The All dialogs tab displays dialogs with all recipients.

  • The Awaiting reply tab displays only those dialogues where the last message was sent by the recipient and the dialogue has not been marked as replied.

    To add or remove a dialogue from the Awaiting reply tab, use the Dialog answered checkbox.

Search by dialogues

The list of dialogues allows you to search for recipients using the following criteria:

  • Full name — You can use any part of the full name for the search, such as just the first name.
  • Phone number.
  • Messenger ID — BSUID for WhatsApp.

Search results appear once you enter at least three characters.

tip

If you’ve messaged a recipient in multiple channels, the search results will show a separate dialogue for each channel.

How to create a new recipient

If the search did not find a recipient, you can add a new one on the dialogs page.

  1. Enter the recipient’s information in the search field.
  2. Click Create dialog in the dialogs list.
  3. (Optional) Edit the phone number that was automatically copied from the search field.
  4. (Optional) Enter the recipient’s first and last name.
  5. Select a channel for the dialogue.
  6. Click Create, so a new dialogue with the added recipient will open.

How to create a new dialogue with a recipient

If no matching dialogues were found when searching for a recipient, you can create a new dialogue.

  1. Enter the recipient’s information in the search field.
  2. Depending on whether or not you already have a dialogue with the recipient, there are different options:
    • If you already have a dialogue with the recipient — click Write in another channel and select the desired channel.
    • If you haven’t had any dialogues with the recipient yet — click Message recipient and select the desired channel.
  3. Click Create, so a new dialogue will open.

Dialogues preview

The dialogue list displays a preview for each dialogue — it contains the following information:

  • Recipient's name, phone number, or ID.
  • Channel type.
  • Preview of the latest message.
  • Unread message badge .

  • The time or date of the last message.
