Changes to the Rules for Working with Daily Limits
WhatsApp

Take into account the new rules for working with daily limits for WhatsApp channels from October 7, 2025:

  • The daily limit for template message delivery will no longer be set individually for each WhatsApp channel. Instead, the same limit will be set for all channels associated with a single WhatsApp Business Account.

For example, if a business account's daily limit is 10,000, each of its associated channels will have the same limit.

  • For existing WhatsApp Business Accounts, daily limits will be set at the maximum limit of their associated channels.

For example, if a business account has one channel with a limit of 100,000 and several other channels with lower limits, the limit for that account will be 100,000.

  • WhatsApp channels will no longer have the Warning status.

  • The second level of the daily limit is now 2,000 messages delivered per day, whereas previously it was 1,000.

Major improvements:

  • Access to higher limits is now accelerated with an update within six hours. Previously, an update took up to 24 hours.
  • The limit set by the WhatsApp Business Account is now immediately available to new registered channels. Previously, the limit had to be gradually increased for each channel.
  • You can now have any number of WhatsApp channels without needing additional channels to access higher limits.
  • The initial limit for new WhatsApp Business Accounts is now 250, whereas before, there was no limit.
  • The initial limit for a newly registered channel is now the same as the limit for the associated WhatsApp Business Account. Previously, the limit was 250.
