How to Launch Your First Broadcast in edna Pulse

In this article, you’ll learn how to quickly set up edna Pulse to send your first broadcast — from connecting the channel to analyzing the results.

Before you begin, make sure the necessary licenses are activated and paid for in your account. License fees are automatically deducted from your balance upon activation and renewal.

Basic Setup Guide

Step 1. Connect a channel

  1. Go to the Channels section.

  2. Click Add Channel and select the desired channel: WhatsApp, WhatsApp for customer, Viber.

    tip

    If the channel you need is not available for connection, contact your personal edna account manager to obtain a license.

  3. Follow the instructions for the selected channel to complete the setup.

After registration and verification by the provider, the channel will be available for sending messages.

Step 2. (Optional) Prepare the audience

  1. Go to the Audience section.

Step 3. (Optional) Create a message template

tip

For WhatsApp and Viber channels, messages can be sent using templates.

  1. Go to the Templates section.
  2. Click Add Template and select the desired channel: WhatsApp or Viber.
  3. Follow the instructions for the selected channel to configure the template. File IconTemplate types

Once registered with the carrier or provider, the template cannot be modified. To make changes, create a new template.

Step 4. (Optional) Configure message cascades

tip

Cascades allow you to automatically use backup channels if a message is not delivered via the primary channel.

For example, send a message to WhatsApp first, and if it isn't delivered, send it to Viber.

Step 5. Launch the broadcast

  1. Go to the Broadcasts section.

Step 6. Analyze the results

  1. Go to the AnalyticsMessages section.
